"Shoot in Space" Playtest

👋Overview

Testing the character-like movement controls, but for controlling a space ship! Made in Godot 4.2.1.

⚠️Compatibility and Issues

  • Loading can be quite slow on browser. If the spinner appears frozen, please wait (I've seen it take up to 60 seconds)
  • Firefox mouse cursor during play can sometimes still show outside the window if movements are erratic enough. Try a different browser or use a gamepad if this causes a problem.
  • May get some stuttering initially when loading certain effects

I think your game has potential to be a lot of fun, however there are few things holding it back in my opinion like the sensitivity is very low and I have to move my mouse a quarter mile to look around and the combat gets a little bland after a few minutes of playing, maybe you could add a new gameplay mechanic or different types of enemies to fix this. I like how the shooting feels, holding the gun makes the bullets spread for helping with close range combat and tapping the gun makes the bullet spread a lot smaller allowing for longer shots. Keep up the good work!

You have to make this game more fun.
