"Shoot in Space" Playtest
👋Overview
Testing the character-like movement controls, but for controlling a space ship! Made in Godot 4.2.1.
⚠️Compatibility and Issues
- Loading can be quite slow on browser. If the spinner appears frozen, please wait (I've seen it take up to 60 seconds)
- Firefox mouse cursor during play can sometimes still show outside the window if movements are erratic enough. Try a different browser or use a gamepad if this causes a problem.
- May get some stuttering initially when loading certain effects

🎲Playtest Instructions
- Shoot and destroy as many enemy ships as you can
- There is no target leading like in many space sims. Shoot directly with the crosshair.
- Enemies will give a warning when attempting to shoot you.
- Pressing the dash trigger will have your ship dash in the direction of movement
🎮Controls
Gamepad based on an XBox One controller, though may support others (tested with PS5 and Switch Pro Controller)
